These dune landscapes can provide a particular raw material: heavy sands containing titanium- and zirconium-bearing minerals. The CLIENT II project RENO-TITAN takes a closer look at these mineral sands. Experts on environmental radiology from Vietnam and Germany collaborate in RENO-TITAN to determine whether the residues from heavy sand mining activities are radioactively contaminated.

- Image22.08.2023IndonesiaClimate protection/ energy efficiencyThe EnaTex project aims to accompany the Indonesian textile industry on its way to a more sustainable production. The focus is on increasing energy efficiency and promoting the use of renewable energies, embedded in a holistic corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy. In June 2023, a delegation of Indonesian researchers from the Catholic University of Atma Jaya and the Politeknik STTT Bandung visited the German project partners in Mönchengladbach, Leonberg, Heidelberg, and Saarbrücken. Together, the project partners conducted working visits, workshops and networking meetings.
