From 8 to 14 June 2023 the textile world met again after 4 years at the “International Textile and Garment Technology Exhibition” (ITMA) in Milan. The world's largest international trade fair for machinery for the textile and clothing industry gathered more than 1700 exhibitors from 47 countries under the slogan "Transforming the World of Textiles with Digitalisation and Sustainability".

Numerous members of the EnaTex team visited the exhibition to find out about the latest innovations and potential solutions for a more sustainable textile industry. The participating EnaTex partners from Germany and Indonesia met at the project partners’ exhibition booths (Brückner and Hochschule Niederrhein).

A special highlight was the EnaTex team’s presentation at the ITMA Textile Colourants and Chemicals Forum. Evelyn Lempa and Aslihan Memisoglu informed the sold-out audience about the findings gained from the EnaTex-project and were able to inspire the audience with practical insights from the areas of innovative finishing processes as well as effective chemicals and occupational safety and health management systems for a safe and sustainable textile industry.
