RIESGOS presents first beta-version for multi-risk information system
Between 11 and 29 November, a delegation of the CLIENT II project RIESGOS will travel to the partner countries Peru and Ecuador to present the first beta-version for a multi-risk information system. The project team will be accompanied by representatives of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and Projektträger Jülich (PtJ).
The completion of the first beta-version for a multi-risk information system by October 2019 is a major milestone for the RIESGOS project. In November, a project delegation will travel to South America to present the work in the partner countries Peru and Ecuador. Dedicated research and user workshops will be conducted with research partners, national and local authorities, and civil society disaster risk management organizations to ensure that user needs and feedback on individual preliminary results are captured and integrated in the best possible way throughout the development process.
In addition to the presentation of the beta-version as a part of the workshops, numerous bilateral meetings with partner institutions will be held in order to strengthen cooperation and to coordinate the joint activities in the third project year.
