RIESGOS 2.0: Training on the RIESGOS Demonstrator
From 19 to 23 September 2022 a training on Web Processing Services (WPS) and their integration in the multi-risk analysis tool (RIESGOS demonstrator) developed within the RIESGOS 2.0 project took place at CENEPRED (Centro Nacional de Estimación, Prevención y Reducción del Riesgo de Desastres) in Lima, Peru.
The training was conducted by experts from the RIESGOS 2.0 project team in hybrid form. In addition to CENEPRED, staff from the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS) also participated in the training. Training contents ranged from setting up a WPS server to adding new data and integrating the service into the tool’s graphical user interface. The training week concluded with a discussion of possible further application cases for using the tool in disaster risk management.
