From 29 - 30 November 2022, the international conference "The Way Forward to Circularity" will take place in Berlin on the topics of waste prevention, reduction and management. The focus is on local approaches to these global challenges.

The conference is organised by the export initiative environmental protection (EXI) in cooperation with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ GmbH). The conference promotes mutual exchange on sustainable infrastructure and innovative technology solutions. Together they lay the foundation for better environmental and living conditions worldwide.

The two-day conference aims to support international cooperation and partnership between the partner countries of the export initiative and German technology and service providers. By bringing together a wide range of international stakeholders from the private and public sectors, experts and policy makers, global knowledge exchange and market exploration for green and sustainable development can be optimally promoted.

The conference provides a helpful foundation for the discussion of innovative concepts and technologies and their adaption to specific local conditions. Keynote speeches, panel discussions, world-cafés and get-togethers offer numerous opportunities to meet for future projects.
