The second Hamburg Sustainability Conference (HSC) will take place on 2 and 3 June 2025. It offers a global development policy platform for representatives from politics, business, science, civil society and multilateral organisations. 

The conference enables an exchange between representatives of the Global South and the Global North in times of increasing geopolitical crises. Together, a bridge will be built from the political sustainability goals of the United Nations to their practical implementation. With this initiative, the German government aims to accelerate worldwide efforts to achieve the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). At the last HSC, over 1,600 leaders from politics, business, science and civil society from over 102 countries came together to work on achieving the SDGs.
