ECCA 2025 - 7th European Conference on Adaptation to Climate Change

The European Climate Chance Adaptation Conference (ECCA 2025) will take place from 16 to 18 June 2025 in Rimini, Italy. The event, which takes place every two years, is the most important forum for climate adaptation in Europe and enables exchange on latest research results and important use cases.

ECCA 2025 brings together researchers, decision-makers, practitioners and other relevant stakeholders. The aim of the conference is to promote an exchange on scientific findings, political developments and practical implementation experiences in the context of climate change adaptation.

The thematic focus of the sessions covers various key topics, including dealing with climate extremes, financing adaptation measures and the future design of urban spaces.

The conference is organised by the Joint Programming Initiative “Connecting Climate Knowledge for Europe” (JPI Climate) and the MAGICA project, with support from the EU.
