LoSENS at the tenth edition of the International Circular Economy Week
Between 21 and 25 October, the Institute for Applied Material Flow Management (IfaS) at Trier University received its Senegalese partners from the Local Sustainable Energy Networks in Senegal (LoSENS) project. They came to the university’s Environmental Campus Birkenfeld to attend the tenth edition of the International Circular Economy Week.
The SMEs involved in LoSENS also organized visits to sites where their technologies are operating to demonstrate their feasibility to their Senegalese project partners. In addition, the hosts also prepared two workshops – one to evaluate current progress on the project’s various ongoing activities, and another to plan and prepare further actions to build a strategic alliance between Germany and Senegal in the field of sustainable energy systems.
