In mid-April 2023, the German-Vietnamese team of the Drought-ADAPT project conducted a field trip to the Central Highlands project region in Vietnam. Intensive stakeholder workshops focusing on climate services and ecosystem-based adaptation were carried out. This was followed by further exchanges with local authorities and field visits to drought-affected areas in Đắk Nông province. The contact with local people, be it with different local authorities or with local farmers, brings the consortium each time one step further towards the development of a locally adapted climate service.
