The 13th session of the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) will take place from 14 to 23 July 2025 in New York City, USA. This year’s theme is: “Advancing sustainable, inclusive, science- and evidence-based solutions for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its Sustainable Development Goals for leaving no one behind”.

The forum will specifically address the progress of the implementation of the SDGs #3 (Good Health and Well-being), #5 (Gender Equality), #8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), #14 (Life below Water), and #17 (Partnerships to Achieve the Goals).

The HLPF is the main platform of the United Nations (UN) on Sustainable Development. It has a central role in the achievement and review of implementation of the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development and it’s SDGs. All UN Member States as well as representatives from civil society organisations participate in the HLPF, which meets under the auspices of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
